Overall disease pressure was virtually absent in the 2020 vintage providing growers with the luxury of time to manage harvest operations. Ripeness in the vineyard was excellent. Temperatures and exceptional diurnal variation late in the season favored the retention of acidity; a hallmark character of Finger Lakes wines.
