Collection: Cabernet Franc

If Riesling is the signature white grape of the Finger Lakes, Cabernet Franc makes a compelling case for the red.

The longer we make Cabernet Franc, the more convinced we become that it belongs here. It doesn’t need enormous ripeness to become interesting. In our climate it can give us red fruit, herbs, earth, spice and a wonderful savory quality, all carried by fresh acidity and relatively gentle tannins. Glacier Ridge has shown us just how serious Cabernet Franc can become, while our other bottlings remind us that seriousness and drinkability aren’t opposites.
