As Red Newt continues to evolve its tasting room, bistro, and wine bar experience, we are building a team of enthusiastic, welcoming people who are excited to create memorable experiences for our guests while working in one of the Finger Lakes’ most established wine and culinary destinations.
Founded over 25 years ago, Red Newt has always been driven by a passion for wine, food, and genuine hospitality. From the beginning, our goal has been to provide a complete Finger Lakes experience at the table — bringing together thoughtful wines, seasonal food, conversation, and connection in a way that feels welcoming, relaxed, and memorable.
Today, that spirit continues to grow through an evolving wine and culinary program focused on wine synergy, shared experiences, and the simple pleasure of gathering around great food and wine. Whether through curated pairings, small plates and tapas-style offerings, or guided tastings, we believe hospitality should feel personal, engaging, thoughtful, and fun.

- Wine Hospitality & Tasting Room Staff
- Bistro / Wine Bar Servers

Wine Hospitality & Tasting Room Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging wine tastings and guide guests through our wines
- Share knowledge about our vineyards, wines, and winemaking
- Assist guests with bottle purchases and wine club memberships
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process retail transactions
- Help maintain an organized and welcoming tasting room environment
- Participate in staff tastings and ongoing wine education
Bistro / Wine Bar Server Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and knowledgeable food and wine service
- Guide guests through menu and pairing recommendations
- Help create a relaxed, polished, and memorable dining experience
- Support a shared-plate and pairing-focused dining experience
- Work closely with kitchen and hospitality teams during service
- Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas
- Contribute positively to a strong team culture
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must uphold NYS laws including age verification procedures
- Able to lift a case of wine (~36 lbs)
- Able to work extended periods on your feet
- Weekend availability is required, especially Fridays and Saturdays
