Shipping Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

1. Overview

We ship wine directly to consumers in eligible US states and select international destinations. All orders are subject to applicable state laws governing direct-to-consumer wine shipments. By placing an order, you confirm that receiving wine shipments is legal in your state or locality.

2. Domestic Shipping (United States)

We ship to eligible US states via UPS. Shipping rates are calculated by order size and destination zone:

Order Size Rate
1–3 bottles Flat rate (calculated at checkout)
4–6 bottles Flat rate (calculated at checkout)
7–12 bottles Flat rate (calculated at checkout)
13–15 bottles Flat rate (calculated at checkout)
16–18 bottles Flat rate (calculated at checkout)
19–24 bottles Flat rate (calculated at checkout)

Some states are fulfilled through our Vinoshipper partner, which generally utilize "real-time" rate quotes from UPS.

3. International Shipping

We do not sell and ship wines internationally.

4. Adult Signature Required

All wine shipments require an adult signature (21+) upon delivery. Please ensure someone of legal drinking age is available to sign. Carriers will not leave packages unattended. If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the carrier will make additional attempts or hold the package at a local facility. Packages that cannot be delivered and are returned to us will be subject to a re-shipping fee.

5. Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing may take longer. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has shipped.

In the event of weather conditions that are too hot or to cold, shipments may be held in order to ship during a weather window where temperatures are optimal to maintain wine quality.

6. Delivery Estimates

Delivery times vary by destination and are estimates only — they are not guaranteed. Weather, carrier delays, and other factors outside our control may affect delivery. We do not ship wine when extreme temperatures could compromise quality; orders may be held and shipped when conditions are suitable.

7. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date at orders@rednewt.com with your order number and photos of any damage. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and arrange a replacement or credit as appropriate.

8. Undeliverable States

We are unable to ship wine to states where direct-to-consumer shipments are prohibited by law. If you place an order to an ineligible destination, your order will be cancelled and fully refunded.
