Collection: Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris lives in the in-between — neither fully white nor rosé in spirit, neither delicate nor bold. It's a variety of quiet contradictions, and can be easygoing or surprisingly serious. Pinot Gris has surprised us over the years. It’s easy to think of it simply as a fresh, pleasant white wine—and it can certainly be that—but good Finger Lakes Pinot Gris can have remarkable texture and substance. Some of our favorite examples have developed beautifully in bottle. We’ve come to appreciate the grape for that combination: orchard fruit, spice and generosity, but with enough Finger Lakes acidity to keep everything lively.
