Viridescens is Red Newt’s 'Winemakers' Reserve' Red Wine. Where the Glacier Ridge Cabernet Franc or Merlot bottlings really accentuate the full and fleshy sides of both those grapes, Viridescens seeks more elegance, balance, and nuance that rewards careful cellaring and thoughtful drinking.  This wine represents the most elegant and age worthy red wine we create in a vintage with its ripe fine tannins and stunning fruit.
