Our intention with this Gewurztraminer was to produce a wine that had a bit more structure than that of the Alsatian expression. The barrel fermentation provides that structure while the inclusion of some stainless-steel fermentation brings back some of the high-tone floral notes that can be lost due to barrel aging. Extended lees contact assists in incorporating the higher alcohol produced by this varietal.

A drier style of Gewurztraminer, this bottling highlights the balance of fruit, floral and spice typical of this varietal.
