2017 Riesling - Glacier Ridge - Skin Fermented
Glacier Ridge has been producing the grapes we use in our reds for over two decades, but this is the first release from a relatively new planting of Riesling vines and we are so excited to introduce it to you. Fermented on destemmed skins for three (3!) weeks until dry, then pressed into a neutral oak barrel. This is a depart from the more crystalline style of Riesling produced by Red Newt. It’s a little bit geeky and a whole lot of fun. We recommend serving with a charcuterie board, smoked trout, and Marcona almonds.
