2011 Lahoma Vineyards Riesling

Like many of the best wines of the vintage, this Finger Lakes riesling seems rich at the outset, in its white peach scent and golden peach flavors. Those flavors, while mouth filling, are conveyed by an energy that takes over the wine and leads to a beguiling spiciness. As intense as it is luxurious, this has impressive length. (240 cases)

2009 Circle Label Riesling

Back-labeled as off-dry, this entry-level white delivers for the price. Its sharpley etched Key lime scent suggests a wine that’s light and dry, but the mouthwatering attack is considerably richer, fresh apples and pear giving way to a crisp, lees-inflected finish. It’s dry enough to serve as an aperitif, but has the weight for Thai basil chicken.

2013 Dry Riesling

A graceful wine, this plays the line between savory and fruity, the biscuity, leesy scent gathering into an uplifting pineapple brightness. The flavors move into the realm of stone fruits, with a vibrant acidity that links savory and sweet. That vibrancy and persistence is the wine’s most thrilling feature. Serve it with a brined pork chop. (1,200 cases)
