44% CABERNET FRANC ~ 23% MERLOT ~ 21% SYRAH ~ 11% CABERNET SAUVIGNON ~ 1% PINOT NOIR Once prolific in the Allegheny and Susquehanna river valleys of New York State, the Hellbender, a salamander some thirty inches in length, possesses startling looks but is of a good nature. This "Hellbender" port style wine is meticulously vinted with exceptional Finger Lakes Vinifera grapes. And, while it is robust, thick and full bodied, it displays exquisitely rich and elegant fruit, great depth and delicate complexity.
