Join us in welcoming two new additions to the Red Newt team!

 Brandon Seager accepted the position of Cellarmaster in August of 2007. Brandon comes to us from Dallas, Texas. In 1997 he completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. After moving to Ithaca, NY to follow his wine passion, Brandon recently finished his Master's Degree in Viticulture and Enology at Cornell University. In his spare time he enjoys working on his own small vineyard in Naples, NY and is an award winning amateur winemaker.

Shane Searfoss, previous owner of Charlie's Cafe in Elmira, NY brings his experience to the Bistro at Red Newt as the new Bistro Service Manager. Shane's long list of accomplishments include a degree in Business management from Penn State University. As a resident of Elmira, NY, Shane is well known throughout the Finger Lakes for his involvement with many local charities, as well as a passion for the arts. A keen interest and knowledge of exceptional food, wine and service make Shane a great asset to the Red Newt team.
