Classical Guitarist William Groome is a well known guitarist from Corning, NY who plays a variety of classical music for guitar. His manner is precise and emotional, lending life to pieces that are oft too seldomly heard.

William played in rock bands in the 1980s thru early 90s before deciding about 11 years ago to concentrate only on classical guitar. After spending some time reacquiring classical technique (having had a couple years of lessons in
the 1980s in between rock bands), he began playing at art openings, wineries and weddings. In 2004, Mr Groome received a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts to perform a concert of historic American classical guitar music.
