---SOLD OUT--- NEXT DINNER AUGUST 22nd---
What is a winemaker's table, you might ask? Well, one
thing about we winemakers is that we love to eat delicious food and
drink good wine in presence of great company. That is what life is
about, isn't it? And we (Brandon and I) have the great luxury of being
winemakers at a winery that also boasts a terrific restaruant with an
absolutely inspirational chef (Debra, my wife too!). Once a month we
gather at an informal table, choose a trio of wines that we have a
hankering to enjoy with our meal, and invite a group of friends (that
would be you!) to enjoy the evening with.
Menu below!
This winemaker's table features wines from one of our small, premium winegrowers right here in Hector, NY.
Glacier Ridge
Vineyards lies along the eastern shore of Seneca Lake in the
glacially formed Finger Lakes region. This small, perfectly located
and managed vineyard consistently produces fruit that is
characterized by intense color and complex, smoky flavors.
We will be featuring the following single vineyard reserve wines:
- 2005 Glacier Ridge Merlot - Rich plum and blackberry frame this wine with intense fruit which gives way to complex hints of wood and dark smoke.

- 2007 Glacier Ridge Merlot (barrel sample) - Supple fruit and firm tannins with a
remarkable and complex finish of coffee and dark plum with hints of
vanilla and oak.
- 2007 Glacier Ridge Cabernet Franc (barrel sample) - Cranberry
and raspberry fruit combined with aromas of lavendar and rosemary to
produce a nose that is rich and ethereal. The palate is firm, but
supple, with hints of vanilla and spice.
Please join us!
